Casino Roulette Game
Roulette Gambling
Dealers SignatureSome experienced roulette players swear that some dealers spin the ball at exactly the same speed each time. By noting where the wheel is at the exact moment the ball takes off, these poker players believe they can predict, within a few numbers, where the ball is going to land.
If you find a “dealer signature”, it may only last for a short time. It could be at the end of the shift, when the dealer is thinking only about going home, or it could be at the beginning of the shift, when the dealer is thinking about the events of the previous evening. Like a human being, a dealer signature is a very fragile thing.
Dealers are human. They have friends and family, and lives outside of the casino. Not every dealer pays attention to his or her job 100 percent of the time. Because dealers may be thinking about other things while spinning the ball around the Casino roulette wheel, the observant player may be able to determine whether that dealer is unconsciously (or consciously) giving the players an edge.
The Decline of Roulette Games
Casino executives, like all other businessmen, focus on the bottom line. Almost each game Casino Craps like on the casino floor is expected to stand on its own. A casino can generally make more money from three slot machines than from one roulette table. If promoted and managed properly, roulette could be a casino’s most profitable game To attract more action per hour to a roulette table, the casino must attract more players. But players are staying away from the tables in increasing numbers. Roulette neteller has been described as a “sucker’s game” over the past 20 years by virtually every gambling authority. Nobody wants to be thought of as a sucker and, as a result, poker roulette is ignored by serious players.
Casino Roulette’s Appeal
The disciplined non-professional player can expect to play with only a minor disadvantage in both craps and blackjack, but there is no escaping the 5.26 percent house edge in “00” roulette. But the vast majority of Casino gamblers are playing for entertainment or excitement. Few are using a disciplined strategy that takes full advantage of any game. They are “hunch” bettors paying a big price for their long-shot play.
Roulette is unique in that no matter how bets are placed, the firepay house edge remains constant: 5.26 percent. This is still very high for even-money bets, but is a relative bargain for long-shot play. There is no other game in the casino which can offer up to a 35-to-i payout with only a 5.26 percent “vig”.
There is also no other game which does not penalize for hunch play. If you like to be entertained by hunch betting, and/or like to play for long odds on your hunches, then roulette is actually a much better deal than you’ll find with either craps or blackjack.
Finding the Right Game
As you see, according to Casino Tips, the only way to reduce the house advantage is to find a game that offers either surrender or a single “0” wheel. In the US, casinos go through phases of trying to attract the roulette player by replacing the double “00” tables with some single “0” wheels. Whether it is Las Vegas or Atlantic City, those are the games you want to find.
But it depends on how you plan to bet. If you want to bet the big numbers, and go for the poker 35-to-one payoff, you want to find those single online poker “0” games. But if you’re more interested in betting the outside numbers, head for Atlantic City, where the surrender option cuts the edge on the outside bets to 2.7 percent. This doesn’t help you on the inside, however, where the house edge remains 5.26 percent.
